Remote Alaska Helicopter Fishing at it's finest!  Not only do we fish locations with no other anglers present, we fish a few streams that NEVER see another angler besides the ones we bring in!  This is a unique opportunity to be among a small group of anglers to enjoy some of Alaska's most remote back country fishing.  Our area has a bit of everything to offer.  We have runs of all five species of Salmon, sea-run Dolly Varden Char, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, and Sheefish.  And yes, it is possible to catch all these species on the same trip!

Twin Peaks Adventures promotes fly fishing as our first choice of sport fishing equipment.  The single barb is much easier on fish that we plan to catch-and-release.  We have quite a wide variety of fly fishing opportunities, from delicate dry fly fishing to chucking a heavy pike fly.  When you book a trip, one of our guides will be in contact with you to help you prepare specifically for your visit.

Spin fisherman should plan to use single barb lures when we are catch and release fishing.  If you are a spin fisherman, this is a great time to try your hand at Fly Fishing!  Our guides are always willing and happy to give fly fishing instruction to new fly fishermen on these trips.  Our guides have many years of fly fishing experience.  We even have a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Instructor on staff!

One of our main goals at Twin Peaks Adventures is to promote conservation of our natural resources.  For this reason we will keep only a few fish to eat fresh.  Arctic Grayling fishing will be strictly catch and release.

We recommend the following guidelines for catch and release fishing:

  • Never drag the fish up on shore

  • Keep the fish out of water for the shortest possible time (less than 30 seconds)

  • Keep the fish close to the water at all times

  • Never squeeze the fish

  • Never put your hand or fingers in the fish's gills or eyes

  • Use the heaviest weight line for the application.  This will shorten the fight, thus tiring the fish less before being released

  • Use single barb hooks, and pinch the barb down
