Float

Our Float Adventure is a 5 day/4 night float down a remote Seward Peninsula river.  The fishing can be sensational, and we will not be competing with any other anglers.  Arctic Grayling and Dolly Varden are plentiful all summer, and Salmon run seasonally.  Upon arrival in Nome you will have a night at the Snake River Cabin to get a shower and a meal, relax, and get your gear ready to go.  The next day you will enjoy a comfortable helicopter ride to the drop-off point.  We’ll get the inflatable canoes aired up and ready to go, and then head off on our adventure.  The uniqueness of a helicopter flyout is that we can set down on any bend of the river that we want to start on, and can be picked up on any bend that we finish on.  So there is no schedule, just fishing, floating, or camping as much as we want.  This trip is the best way to really get in touch with the country and a river, but is also the most physically demanding.  We’ll be out in the Alaskan wilderness, tent camping, rain or shine, for five days.  Our inflatable canoes are set up comfortably, the camping gear is high quality, and your guides are seasoned outdoorsmen.  Guides will be making sure that your fishing experience is top notch; however your comfort and security will be the highest concern.  Finish out the trip with your last night back at the Snake River cabin.
